Hokies Announce Fall Lineup

by Panchito Ojeda

BLACKSBURG, VA - Virginia Tech men's lacrosse program has announced a competitive 2021 fall schedule that includes three contest dates, culminating with a showdown with conference foe Liberty.

The Hokies begin fall ball with a scrimmage under the lights on Friday September 17 against West Virginia in Charleston, WV as a precursor to the Hokies v Mountaineer football game on September 18.

Next up the Hokies travel to newly added conference foe James Madison University on October 2.  This will mark the second time in three years the Hokies have played the Dukes.

To round out the fall the Hokies will play a fall match-up against rival Liberty University on October 30th.  Winners of the ALC in 2021 this will present a strong end of fall contest for the Hokies.

"After missing games all last fall we wanted to get a few extra contests in to find out where we are." said Hokies coach Panchito Ojeda "After two different seasons as a result of COVID, it is exciting to be looking down the barrel of a normal season.  All three of our fall opponents should present challenging matchups and help prepare us for our spring slate."
