Hogan Joins Coaching Staff

Blacksburg, VA - Virginia Tech Men's Lacrosse would like to welcome Matt Hogan to the Hokie's coaching staff as Defensive Coordinator.  He joined the team this fall and will be leading the defensive charge for the spring. Coach Ojeda on the hiring of Coach Hogan

We are excited to welcome Coach Hogan to the Hokies squad.  He is a great fit for our cultural and carrying on the defensive standards we have come to expect.

Hogan comes to Virginia Tech via Cave Spring where he was Head Coach in 2023 leading the Knights to a 15-4 record and an appearance in the State Quarterfinals as well as Regional Championship game. Hogan played high school lacrosse locally at Patrick Henry before joining the military and serving our nation. 

Coach Hogan now resides in Roanoke where he runs a real estate business and coaches for 460 Lacrosse.
