BLACKSBURG, VA – March 30, 2025 – The Virginia Tech Division I Men’s Lacrosse team put together a commanding performance on Saturday afternoon, defeating Texas A&M 17-4 in front of a packed crowd during their annual Alumni Weekend.

The Hokies were anchored by a stellar defensive showing led by goaltender Gavin Larsen, who recorded 6 saves and allowed just 2 goals in his time between the pipes. Offensively, Trevor Stocks sparked the attack with 2 goals and 2 assists, showcasing both finishing ability and field vision.

The win pushes Virginia Tech to 8-4 on the season, as the team continues its strong push toward postseason play. The Hokies controlled the pace from the opening whistle, displaying sharp ball movement, aggressive rides, and physical defense that kept the Aggies off-balance all afternoon.

“This was a full-team effort and a great way to honor our alumni who helped build this program,” said Head Coach Panchito Ojeda. “We’re proud of how the guys executed today.”

Virginia Tech now turns its attention to a critical divisional matchup on the road against Clemson on Saturday, April 6, with faceoff set for 12:00 PM in Clemson, SC.
